With a solid background in architecture and urbanism, I have extended my expertise to other design practices and art manifestations having always as a clear goal to understand design processes and its effects in society. This portfolio corresponds mainly to my work in Amsterdam. I have divided it into 4 main categories.
In the first three categories, it is exposed how, in my practice, there is a constant interest in hands-on work with different materials and up-cycling or recycling elements considered waste. My curiosity for urban environments is funded on my attentiveness for systems and spaces. Finally, I'm extremely triggered by the engagements of others in diverse design processes for which observations is a key starting point to create. This can mainly be seen in the forth category.
UP CYCLING MATERIALS WHILE SHAPING FURNITURE AND SPACES
UP Makers is an ongoing project in which exploring the possibilities of up-cycling goes hand by hand with providing architecture, interior design and furniture tailor made solutions. The prime matter for the new designs are pieces of old furniture considered by some obsolete or waste.
